The ref didn’t do a great job but who thinks that was the main problem?
Balogan was playing well when he was taken off, Reyna has been playing well, and Tyler Adams’s has played pretty good- also too good to be getting the halftime axe. We went with three center backs but still let Panama play most of their game in and around our box. Players like Musah, Haji Wright should have been brought on, and Sargent and Pepi brought on sooner or replace Balogan even later.
So to me even with the red card- the selection, tactics, and subs just were not good enough!
