USA vs MEXICO FINALS THREAD

Star power...MEXICO ✔️

Experience....MEXICO ✔️

Coaching....Evan ( really debatable) not sure if we go off of experience or if we go off of what the team is playing like now and team unity.. so I picked Evan or yet to be seen.. I really favor Mexico ! But not enough substance from USA staff yet..

Offense...MEXICO ✔️ ( due to start power)

Defense.. MEXICO ✔️ ( do to midfield and as a group more organized)

Goal keeping... USA ✔️ ( with ochoa on the bench and Mexico finally has improved over the years all the way back to Jorge Capos era.. so pretty good keepers from them ) the USA just has some of the best specimens traditionally of all time.. I guess I am just bias on this one...
 
Poor US is desperate for a star. Fox coverage has just been about Diego Luna. We don’t know how to treat our team here. Put all the pressure on one star who is performing in the moment

I was gonna post I thought we’d get one goal from Luna and one from defense.

Gilberto mora .. might become one of the greatest players of all time.. I've seen and played in a lot of games 40 years on the pitch and my whole life watching.. he reminds me of Diego Maradona in the beginning of his career
 
Mexico deserved it with their quality whole tournament.
My question is did they also shut Luna down or was he physically/mentally tired?

He was well over matched.. true skill comes out when as a player you are asked and forced into a different role... it's easy to play when you are in your role .. when you are out matched as a player and a team only true good and really good players can adjust adapt ect.. only great ones can take a lesser team on their back and win!!

His only role in his young career is right behind forwards !! Attacking center mid .. I actually liked some of his defensive skills he showed during this tournament and final...

He will be good for an MLS team 2nd devision English primer team ect.. not quite a world cup super star .. do you play him over Christian? NO AND HELL NO ..

We could say that about most all this B LEVEL Team ... hey they played well against an A level team from Mexico... so let's don't forget about that
